The ZAK 2 :
The Zak2 has been designed to be a light weight, without compromising strength.
High quality fabrics are used to build the container and stainless steel hardware is standard as well.
The pin protector flap is integrated in to the lateral flap, for a cleaner design. This flap completely secures the pins.
The flap can be left open for those very low jumps!!
The dynamic corners are incorporated in to the bottom tray of the container, the bridle is fully protected.
The stretchy back pad pocket features double access for ease of use (from the top and from the left side).
The new leg strap buckle (stainless steel) will keep the webbing adjusted at the exact same position, even when the legstraps are not under tension.
In July 2005 the Zak successfully passed the drop tests for the German (DFV) certification process.
It is now on the list of the approved parachutes and the Zak2 can therefore be legally jumped in Germany either from a plane, or during legal Base events.
